Purpose of the Job

As a Client Advisor you will be responsible for building an optimal and appropriate client service and experience, with the aim of achieving the objectives and expectations of the client families we serve. You will be acting as client advisor, leveraging the Puilaetco value proposition axed across all investment solutions and additional services (wealth planning, art advisory, credit, …) with the support of the relevant experts in the bank and in the Group. You will be responsible to protect and grow the client's wealth but will cultivate a strong prospective mindset to grow the client base consistently on top of the share of wallet of your existing clients. You will be developing and maintaining sustainable relationships with clients while demonstrating an extensive knowledge of the clients you serve and advise.

Key Accountabilities

 

Client Relationship Management


•    Develop an outstanding understanding of the client family situation, financial position, investment objectives and risk profile. Ensure the financial and life needs of client families are understood and met
•    Develop and maintain a strong and sustainable relationship with client families through regular visit and contacts. Actively and regularly approaches client based on identified developments.
•    Drive revenues and other commercial objectives through long-term and proactive relationship management with existing clients based on trust and distinctive service. 
•    Liaise with experts of the bank and within the Group to provide the relevant services (art advisory, wealth planning, credits, …) to the client segment and personal situation

 

Client Acquisition

 

•    Vital role in driving the growth of the business to reach individual and team objectives
•    Strong prospection of leads and share of wallet on personal network and pipeline (E.g. own network, referrals, share of wallet gains..)
•    Active participation to prospection initiatives, memberships and events to expand the client base
•    Develop and implement targeted strategies to acquire new clients and penetrate new markets.
•    Actively contribute to the conversion of new leads through the effective collaboration with marketing and business development

 

Investment advice

 

•    Be knowledgeable on all investment products & markets, determine the desired risk profile in consultation with clients, set investment objectives and discuss achievable and achieved performance with clients
•    Advise on the choice of the investment strategy, design, and composition of investment portfolios, appropriate to the client's objectives and risk appetite, follow-up and reports on the achieved performance of investments and overall service delivery.

 

Risk management

 

•    Act as 1st line of defence risk manager for clients & the bank through proactive risk management of financial, compliance, conduct, cross-border (for international client advisors only) and operational risks arising from servicing clients. Be accountable for the appropriate and timely mitigation of any issues raised by Business Risk Management or Compliance at any point in time and within the parameters defined by the company’s Risk Appetite Statement and related frameworks
•    Ensure that both clients newly onboarded, and existing clients are in line with the Group Strategy & Risk Appetite, have been timely and appropriately risk assessed in line with the internal Financial Crime Compliance requirements and internal quality standards
•    Ensure that all operations affecting clients carried out in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements (e.g. client suitability, Financial Crime Compliance or other relevant internal policy)
•    Act as a role model for business ownership and responsibility for risk management in line with our core values at any time or for any amount of revenue. 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, law or equivalent and relevant professional certification
  • Strong experience in a commercial, banking or financial environment
  • Knowledge of general banking laws and regulations, markets regulations and compliance procedures regarding investment advice to clients
  • Knowledge about order and execution process and investing products and services
