Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous OutSystems Tester to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our OutSystems applications through rigorous testing and analysis. This role is crucial in maintaining our standards of excellence and ensuring our applications meet both functional and performance criteria.
This role is based in the Netherlands and requires an existing residence and work permit.
Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans and test cases for OutSystems applications. Execute tests manually and using automated tools to ensure the application's functionality and performance align with the requirements.
Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues within the applications. Work closely with developers to ensure that defects are resolved and retested.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure that applications run smoothly under various conditions on Azure. Monitor application behavior and gather metrics to assess performance and scalability.
User Experience Testing: Evaluate the usability and user interface of OutSystems applications to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly. Provide feedback to the development team on potential improvements.
Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or new functionality is released to ensure existing features are not affected by the latest changes.
Quality Assurance Reports: Generate detailed reports on testing activities, including problems identified, actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Required Experience: 1-3 years of experience in software testing, with specific experience in testing OutSystems applications.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform.
Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in performance testing and bug tracking software.
