Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Functional Application Manager to oversee and enhance our suite of OutSystems applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and business acumen to manage application performance, ensure user satisfaction, and drive continuous improvements.
This role is based in the Netherlands and requires an existing residence and work permit.
Application Management: Oversee the daily operations of OutSystems applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
User Support and Training: Act as the primary contact for end-user support. Provide training and documentation to help users effectively interact with the applications.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize Azure monitoring tools to track application performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Maintenance and Updates: Coordinate with IT and development teams to schedule updates, patches, and new releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, report on application status, and gather feedback for future improvements.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the functionality of the applications, often requiring an understanding of SQL databases.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in application management, preferably with OutSystems platforms hosted on Azure.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in managing and configuring applications on the OutSystems platform.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, including monitoring and management tools.
Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable; experience in managing SQL databases is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Fluent in both Dutch and English. Any other language will be considered an advantage (French/ German).
