The successful candidate will work as part of the Finance function for the Group. She/he will be part of the Finance Regulation & Solutions department which monitors banking regulations related to financial reporting (including capital requirements CRR/CRD), and define/implement the corresponding application into the accounting and reporting tools. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of projects and transformation initiatives driven by the strategy of the Group. 

Key Accountabilities

 

 

  • Act as an expert in prudential regulation by identifying, analysing and assessing the impact of prudential (CRD/CRR) regulatory change on the Bank and its subsidiaries/branches and then, inform relevant stakeholders within the Group. 
  • Implement regulatory requirements and changes (CRR/CRD, EBA guidelines and technical standards) into the accounting and reporting tools (regulatory reporting engine – OneSumX – WKFS, Magnitude SAP BO FC, Power BI, etc). 
  • Monitor the evolution of the reporting engine, seek automation and support users. 
  • Manage data (definition, controls, lineage) in line with BCBS239 principles.  
  • Monitor EBA, CSSF, IFRS and other relevant publications to provide a central point of expertise, knowledge and advice. 
  • Actively participate in translating directives and regulations into practical business requirements. 
  • Provide expertise, knowledge and advice for the management and Finance users with regards to the application of the financial regulation and the best ICT process. 
  • Analyse the regulatory constraints and impacts of new products/activities considered by the Group. 
  • Support the financial regulatory reporting team to meet all new regulatory requirements in time and with the required quality.    

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Master in Finance, Risk or IT. 
  • Experience in delivering projects. 
  • 5+ years of Experience in the banking sector in regulatory reporting (FinRep, LiqRep, CoRep and statistics) with a combination of IT and functional responsibilities.

  • Solid analytical skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong aptitude in understanding complex regulatory requirements. 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion. 
  • Courage to report issues and offer analysis of the practical solutions. 

Technical Skills

 

  • Strong background in SQL and OneSumX from WKFS.  
  • Any skills in Power BI are an advantage. 
  • Strong knowledge of European and Luxembourg financial and prudential regulation. 
  • Good knowledge in the valuation methodologies of financial instruments (IFRS, financial theory and practical processes).  

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluent/advanced in French and English.
